On Saturday, August 29, as the Director of Gate 27, I joined Kırmızı Halı on 24 TV together with Nergiz Yeşil, one of Gate 27’s 2021 residents.
During the program, we discussed Gate 27’s journey, the role of residency programs in creating meaningful spaces for artists and creative professionals, and the ways in which interdisciplinary encounters can contribute to research and production processes.
The conversation also focused on Gate 27’s approach to art as a process shaped not only by the final work, but also by research, exchange, experimentation, and impact. By bringing together artists, researchers, and creatives from different disciplines, Gate 27 aims to foster new ways of thinking, making, and collaborating.
